I live walking distance from Shop Rite in West Chester and find myself in this store several times a week. Yesterday, on an Eagles game Sunday, I went shopping in the morning. The store was mobbed! As always, I went to the self checkout lanes where the coupons I had downloaded on the phone app would not work. Luckily for me, the front end customer service representative Velmiana came to my assistance. While making the necessary adjustments in the register she was friendly and efficient to me and to all of the customers waiting in line. Velmiana kept her cool and did her job with grace, professionalism and a sense of humor. Thank you Velmiana.

Great prices, nice to see the same employees for years. Definitely recommend. The seafood department does a nice job on steaming shrimp. Thank you!

I I love this store because it still has the feel and customer service of a community market. Nick at the customer service desk is always most helpful. And this particular Shoprite has been very generous in donating to community efforts to assist people with food insecurity. There are not 'big business' they have big hearts!

Best grocery store in West Chester. Good supply of fresh, well placed veg, and fruit, meat and fish selections. Excellent service desk.

So, not sure why all the hate here. They have great deals especially on Seafood and Meat. Yeah they are probably a little short handed like everyone else but the mostly they seem to be caring. I hit this store every time I return from travels east. I see that some people are upset about the $35 min on pick up orders but I guess they actually have to make a little profit to stay in business. In all this crazy pricing of late this store has held the line as good as any. Rock on D

Really a great store given the value and the work ethic of the workers. it does not have the high end features of some stores, but in return you get lower prices and some really interesting finds. The lines move fast too, tho they can be long some times. Better organic selection than ACME and often Giant.

They were playing the best 80s music in there,stuff I haven't heard in a long time. It felt like I was listening to my own collection; Aside from that everything else was fine... not too crowded etc.

First time shopping at this store in many years. It's a little too far given that we have some Acme's in Giants near us. However I will say that based on my experience today I would definitely return. The lack of competition in our area has allowed both Giant and Acme to significantly raise their prices while lowering selection. It's an unfortunate side effect of an oligopoly in the area. However what I noticed at shoprite was the number of significantly better priced items then what we get around us. Just like any store, there are some items that I think are not competitively priced, however if you're a price educated shopper you will note some extraordinarily good deals here strung out across the store from meat ,dairy, produce, and packaged foods. I also feel that the selection was significantly better. If you like to keep a handle on your food costs, I suggest putting shoprite into your mix.
